Gmail introduced new option to import your contacts from Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL or any webmail and POP3 accounts. This new option can be found under accounts and import tab.

This new migration option allows to bring the last 30 emails inside your Gmail account.

Gmail blog says that accounts and import option is enabled for newly created Gmail account and slowly rolled out for old accounts. Businesses and schools using Google Apps won’t see these new migration options.

This new migration makes simple to import contacts from POP3 email users and you can import new emails coming to your inbox for next 30 days,where you can label it with a new name.
