Google docs blog announced that within a couple of weeks Google docs will be rolling out this feature where every user can store their data up to 1 GB in their Google Docs account.

Emailing large files is little bit tough but you can use Google docs to send large file where Google docs supports file size of 250 MB and 1 GB of free storage. The main advantage is you no need to convert into any particular format to store in Google docs. Google docs accepts all kind of data it may be videos, music or documents in different formats. You can also buy additional storage which costs $0.25 per 1 GB.

Now you can also share your folders in Google Docs to your friends and your family.
