Microsoft launches DreamSpark in India for students

Microsoft today unveiled DreamSpark india for students, Microsoft estimated to distribute Latest Microsoft developer and designer tools free for about 10 Million students. This was launched by Bill Gates at IIT today. DreamSpark is available for students who study on technology, design, math and science.

MS launched DreamSpark in India for students

Free software’s include :

  • Microsoft developer tools
  • Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition
  • Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition
  • XNA Game Studio 2.0
  • 12-month free Academic membership in the XNA Creators Club
  • Microsoft designer tools
  • Expression Studio, including Expression Web,Expression Blend, Expression Design and Media
  • Microsoft platform resources
  • SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition
  • Windows Server, Standard Edition
  • SQL Server 2008 Developer
  • SQL Server 2008 Express
  • Virtual PC 2007

Students can grab their software’s online from Dreamspark India website or in DVD format distributed by program partners (NIIT, Aptech, and HughesNet Fusion Centers). They also provide technology training on the DreamSpark software tools at a nominal cost.
