CTRL + ALT + DEL Not Working ?
ADVERTISEMENTSWindows users often use CTRL + ALT + DEL keys to open task manager and end the current session for a particular application to prevent deadlocks.
Some times your system may be affected with virus or any other worms which does not allows to open task manager whenever you have pressed CTRL + ALT + DEL keys.

But there is an alternative way to open task manager just press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC keys.
Which opens your windows task manager, this is tested in Windows XP operating system.

Oh Yes Hemant Kadam is absolutely right.
CTRL+SHIFT+ESC – is The Short Cut for Task Manager.
CTRL+ALT+ESC – works with KDE (K Desktop Environment) to Open Task Manager.
