To import .docx and .xlsx format files inside Google docs is simple just upload the files and wait for few seconds Google docs will convert your .docx and .xlsx files to be viewable in Google docs.

Google docs announced support for .docx and .xlsx file formats, but Office 2007 Powerpoint files are saved as .pptx format. Still the support for .pptx is not available in Google docs. Check out here for list of file formats supported by Google docs.
