The official Gmail blog announced new features multi select and progress bar for file attachment in Gmail.

Multi select option enables users to select multiple files (CTRL key for windows and Cmd on OS X) at a time while attachment.

In the past days users don’t have idea about how much time does the file upload takes, but the new feature progress bar displays the file attachment progress.
