Free POP3 Access For Yahoo Mail via YPOPs

Yahoo mail one of the best and first free email providers in the world, after 2005  Gmail took over the place of  best free email provider. But still Yahoo is favorite among old users.

Gmail provides free POP3 access to users via their pop3 server, but Yahoo email doesn’t provides free POP3 access to download mails via any email client (E.g Outlook). There is an alternate way to download emails into Microsoft email client outlook express via YPOPs!.

Let’s see how to configure outlook express 6 email client software which is default in Windows XP operating system.

Before configuring Outlook express download and configure YPOPs!.

Steps

1. Open Outlook express select Tools—>Accounts

2. Configure your display name

3. Enter your full yahoo email address.

4.Configure POP3 server with 127.0.0.1 and SMTP server with 127.0.0.1

5. Enter your Yahoo account user name and password

6. Finally finish your configuration.

7.  Now start running YPOPs tool from start menu and check for new mails.
