Gmail Labs New Feature Search Auto complete

Gmail labs yesterday introduced new feature called search auto complete, works like Google suggest when you type anything in your Gmail search it shows suggestions.

To enable this feature go to labs settings and find out search auto complete option in labs and enable it as shown below picture.

Now you can experience auto complete options and advanced search operator, for instance if you like to search pciture files you can use opereator filename:(jpg OR png OR tiff) to search for files in JPG, PNG and TIFF formats.

For instance if you like to search for a particular file name but you don’t have idea of what format you can give operator as filename:filename for eg : Filename:karthik Gmail searches for the attachment files containing the name “karthik” and gives the result. If you know the exact file name and extension you can give directly for eg : Filename:karthik.jpg which searches for JPG file attachment in the name karthik.
