Google maps have a good feature called street view which gives the view of a street for the cities. Now street view covers most of the cities in US.

The official google blog says that at first they had imagery for 23 cities in the United States and just released embeddable panoramas.

In the past 12 months Google maps street view covered almost all of the places in US.
