It was long time before Gmail was launched as beta period, Gmail account sign up was left open to all before some years. But Gmail was displaying beta in their logo.

Today official Gmail blog and Google blog announced the removal of beta for Google Apps and Gmail.

Gmail improved lot of features in their beta period which includes labs features also. Official Gmail blog announced Gmail moves out of beta but Labs features back to beta. You can find out back to beta feature to enable in labs settings as shown below picture.

Google Apps comes out of beta which consists of Gmail, Calendar, Docs, and GTalk .
