Google Stops Support for Old Browsers from March 2010

Google announced last month (January29, 2010) that no more support for old web browsers and listed that they will support the new version browsers.

The official Google docs blog posted that they are going to stop support for very old version browsers like IE6 from March 1st. Due to latest technologies like HTML 5 and advanced java script, very old browsers doesn’t support these technologies and most of the new Google products depend on the latest java scripts and HTML 5.

No More Support For very Old Browers



So Google stops the support for very old browsers and Google docs blog listed out supported browsers as follows..

Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0+
Mozilla Firefox 3.0+
Google Chrome 4.0+
Safari 3.0+

The fact is they missed an important browser Opera in the list, we don’t have any idea why they missed an world famous and one of the fastest browser.
